Valentines past and present...

Yesterday was Valentines Day.  Have I ever told you I love Valentines Day?  Yep, I have some wonderful memories of past Valentines Days.  When I was growing up our family would do a pink and red meal every year where everything was - you guessed it - pink and red.  Fun times!  My mom would always do something special for us on Valentines Day was well.  I can remember her having balloons delivered to school when I was a little girl. I can remembered feeling very loved. 

When I was in high school in Ecuador, friends would give each other roses on Valentines Day. (They were really cheap there.)   I would often come home with many beautiful flowers that people had given to me.  In college and good guy friend made me a vase full of origami roses for valentines.  Yep, I have really been blessed with some wonderful Valentines memories as well as people to celebrate the day with.

Yesterday was a good day!  I had made Valentines cookies for the coffee shop.  They turned out cute.

I came back to the office at lunch to find this on my desk, given to me by a friend...

Last night I had several girlfriends over to watch Anne of Green Gables.  Once again, Valentines Day was a good day.  I am truly blessed!
