His Love Endures Forever!!

Today I celebrated Thanksgiving in my home with many of my single friends in the city. It's a week early. I know! It was celebrated today because we have an activity scheduled in the coffee shop on Thanksgiving day and I did not want to be too stressed out by cooking and planning for both at the same time.

Before we ate the meal, we sat down and read Psalm 136 together. Even though I had planned this and had read it earlier in the morning, I teared up as I read it out loud. His love endures forever. He is so worthy of our praise. We have so much to thank Him for!

After this, all ten of us shared what we are thankful for this year. I was so touched by what they shared. Many people teared up as they shared what the father had done for them during the year. It was a special time.

After we ate the meal (and before we ate pie), we went outside to toss the football. This was the first time our friends had seen or played with a football before. Below, our intern Cassie is teaching the girls how to toss the ball.

It was another great Thanksgiving for me. Even though I am far away from family and friends in the States, I am blessed with wonderful brothers and sisters here in China. For that I am very grateful!
