Love Day

Yesterday was a "love day" of sorts. It started off in the morning with the wedding of our office cleaning lady's son. He was married in the church that I attend. My colleagues and I were all asked to give short speeches. I was very grateful that I knew this ahead of time so that I could prepare. :)

After the wedding and the 24 course meal that followed I rushed back to the coffee shop to oversee a special activity. The singles group at my fellowship rented it out to have a dating activity. Singles over the age of 25 were encouraged to sign up so that they could meet other singles who regularly attend the building. It was interesting to watch as many seemed a little embarrassed about the whole thing and yet intrigued as well.
