A few weeks after I returned from the States, we were told by the Sanitary Department that the kitchen in the Coffee Shop is too small and that it needed to be enlarged. In fact, they verbally told us many things that we need to change in the shop in order for us to receive the permit to serve food. They gave us 20 days to comply with all their requests. Well, the 2o days are about up and we are not near finished. We have done the best that we could in the time that was given to us.
Please be keeping this in your thoughts. My colleagues and I have pretty much had to drop everything else in order to do this. In all honesty, our kitchen was really too small to begin with and we had hoped to expand it. We will be very happy with a larger space but still are concerned that we will not be granted the permit that we need to reopen. I am hopeful though! After all, I know who is really in control!!
