This past week I stayed at a retirement home. I had a wonderful time. I would like to introduce you to some of my new friends...
Meet Martha. She is an artist and she paints the most beautiful pictures. I enjoyed hanging out with Martha and seeing all her beautiful paintings. She also plays the piano beautifully. I sure enjoyed listening to her playing some dear old hymns.
These are people that I really look up to and admire. They have all spent 30+ years serving overseas. I loved hearing stories of how God has been faithful to them over the years. In a way I felt like I was literally surrounded by a great cloud of witnesses (Hebrews 12:1-3). They are all a real example of living by faith. Their lives have been a testimony to me and have helped me to fix my eyes on the author and perfecter of our faith.
