You may have noticed that I have not been blogging for awhile. This is because I have not had any time. I had been extremely busy preparing for the Grand Opening of our Culture Center and Coffee Shop. Yesterday was the big day and boy was it fun. It was fun to see all the work and planning finally pay off. Preparing for this day has been a HUGE portion of my job over the last 10 months or so. Our Father is so faithful!!! I would love to sit down and tell you all the ways in which He answered our pleas during the past months. The place is a testimony to His power. All the necessary approvals have been granted. This in itself is a blessing. He provided us with a wonderful sister who managed a coffee shop previously to manage our coffee shop. He also provided us with a young brother to work in the shop.
The following are a couple of pictures that were taken before the day began. Others took pictures during the day and I hope to post them on here after they have given them to me.

There was a lot of work that went into preparing for our opening. One of the fun aspects was teaching some of our staff how to bake. They had never used an oven before. They really enjoyed it and I loved seeing how much fun they had making the brownies, cookies, and muffins.
