A new place for our business...

Exciting stuff is happening in our city! Our team has decided to move forward on a dream we have had for many years. We have decided to rent some street-side property. On the bottom floor we are hoping to open a coffee shop of sorts. This will be a place for college aged students to come relax and hang out. In the beginning this will not be open every day. It will be open for special events. The second floor will be our offices as well as our classrooms for our clubs. Right now we have kids clubs where children come and learn English. We are hoping in the very near future to expand this to college aged students. We hope that the upstairs will also be used to train and equip young people in the things that really matter.

One of my responsibilities is the help decorate the new office. Right now it is just cement. My teammate and I get to pick out everything for the new place. This is a bit overwhelming but also a whole lot of fun. Below is a picture of what the bottom floor looks like now.

Today we went to a market near us that has everything you would need to decorate a place. It is really a neat place as there are rows and rows of small shops selling just about anything you could possibly need to buy. Below is a picture of one of those rows.

Please be remembering us as we move forward in this project. There is so much that goes into opening a business of this sort. We desire to honor Him in all our business dealings. Right now we are waiting on the Fire Department to approve of our plan for decorating. We cannot move forward on our plans until the approval has been given. We hope that this approval will be granted sometime next week.
