4 more days!!!

I leave for Hawaii in 4 days. I am going there to stay with my brother Joel and his family as well as to meet up with my parents. I have not been to the States for 3 years. In that time my niece Anna was born as well as my nephew Jesse. I can’t wait to meet them and reconnect with my nephew Asher. One of the hardest parts of working here is being so far away from family. I am so thankful for the blessing of being able to visit them for two weeks.

Another reason I am excited to go to Hawaii is to shop. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t especially like shopping. It’s just that due to the fact that I am much larger than any Chinese I know, I am virtually unable to buy clothes here. My clothes, many of which were old when I arrived in China three years ago, are barely hanging on. I look forward to walking into a store and being able to try some stuff on. I look forward to smell of new clothes. I also look forward to the convenience of shopping. I often have to run around to different places all over the city to find the things that I would need. I look forward to stores like Target and Walmart that provide the convenience of one stop shopping. (To be completely honest, the city I live in does have a Walmart but it is very small and does not carry many of the things that it would in the States.)
