Anyone who knows me knows that I love to sing songs. I don't really like doing it in front of a group of people but I love to sing in my personal quiet time or when I am hanging out with friends. I especially like songs that allow me to enter into His presence. I have found that singing songs in Chinese has been a great way to connect with people. It means so much to them when you can sing with them in their own language. The following video clip was of a couple of friends just hanging out in my home. (And yes, I am singing in Chinese for those of you who still doubt that I can speak it!) The name of the song in English is The Sun Above the Clouds. It was the first song that I learned. I now can sing many Chinese songs but this song will always have a special place in my heart.

Wow, it still amazes me that you are in China and now you can speak and sing in Chinese. I still remember "Jubiloso, te adoramos..." and "vumbe viote viya mungu wetu, na me fal me wetu" (don't know the spelling!)
Yes, I remember what Joel wrote. As I recall, I taught all of you Spanish. Good Job in Chinese Mara. Your pronounciation was not too bad!

Hun peo leong - or however you spell that in pin yin. Love the puppy trying to help play the guitar! I'm so proud of you.

It was fun listening to you sing....and watching your puppy!
