Watertown Blessings...

Today a hymn I used to sing as a child came to mind called Count Your Blessings. It has a catchy tune. The chorus is as follows...

Count your blessings, name them one by one,
Count your blessings, see what God hath done!
Count your blessings, name them one by one,
And it will surprise you what the Lord hath done.

I don't know why it surprises us when we stop to think of ways that God has blessed us. He desires to give good gifts to his children and yet I am often amazed and a bit surprised by his blessings.

I was just thinking about how I see all my friends at RVAC here in Watertown, WI as a blessing. I remember how nervous I was that first Sunday because I did not know anyone. I remember how I prayed and asked that RVAC would be a place where people would become like family to me. A place that I would consider my home in the States.

It is!! They are an answer to prayer!!

To all my friends at RVAC - Thank you! You all mean so much to me. I missed you when I was away in California. I could not wait to return to see you again. I feel so blessed because each one of you is in my life!
